Pécan & Caramel Coffee
If you’re planning a great breakfast in bed, start with some of the sweetest coffee this side of Switzerland. Simply place two squares of a Frey Pécan & Caramel bar into a coffee mug, pour in brewed coffee, and stir well. You’ll know the chocolate is melted when you see the pecan bits float to the top.
Chocolate Love Notes
From sunup to sundown, mom can leave chocolate love notes scattered around the house for little ones to find and enjoy. Similar to a fortune cookie, the chocolate bundles unwrap to reveal a message, each one handwritten with love, by mom.
For this project, choose a Frey chocolate bar flavor that best matches your child’s personality (go to www.chocolat-frey.com for a complete flavor list). For a little variety, use a different flavor with each note. Write on strips of brightly colored paper notes of love, praise or encouragement. Break eight squares off the chocolate bar, snapping it along the scored lines. Cut eight-inch strips of colored plastic wrap. Wrap a paper note around a chocolate square and place it in the middle of the plastic wrap. Bring the corners of the plastic wrap together and twist them so the chocolate stays in place. Secure the wrap with a ribbon. Repeat these steps with the remaining notes and chocolate squares.

Butter (soft)
Frey Bouquet d’Oranges chocolate bar
1. Toast the bread.
2. Spread a layer of butter on one side of the toast.
3. Cover the same side of toast with four squares from the chocolate bar.
4. Microwave for 15 seconds to melt the chocolate.

Sour cream and chocolate? Oh yeah. No need for a campfire with this s’more-like treat.
Graham crackers
Sour cream (or cream cheese icing if a super-sweet taste is preferred)
Frey Citron & Poivre chocolate bar
1. Break the graham crackers into bite-size pieces.
2. Spread a layer of sour cream on each cracker.
3. Snap off pieces of the chocolate bar and place over the sour cream.
4. Devour.
Strawberry and Orange Parfait

1. Break the chocolate bar into small chunks.
2. Cut the strawberries into slices.
3. In a parfait glass, layer whipped cream, then strawberries, then chocolate. Continue layering until glass is filled.

Hazel Glo Freytini
2 parts vodka
2 parts Licor 43®
2 parts Frangelico®
1 part VSOP cognac
1 square Frey Japonais chocolate
Pour first four ingredients into shaker filled halfway with ice. Stir (don’t shake) and strain into a martini glass. Drop a square of Frey Japonais chocolate into the glass to fully capture and enhance the essence of the meringue and hazelnut flavor.
Café au Freytini
2 parts Xellent® Swiss Vodka
2 Parts Van Gogh Espresso™ Vodka
1 part Licor 43®
1 part white crème de cacao
1 part amaretto
1 square Frey Tiramisù chocolate
Vanilla wafer cookies
Crush the vanilla wafer cookies in a small bowl. Wet the outside rim of the martini glass with the crème de cacao. Holding the glass parallel to the table, dab the rim into the cookie crumbs while slowly turning the glass so only the outer edge is covered.
Pour first five ingredients into shaker filled halfway with ice. Stir (don’t shake) and strain into the rimmed martini glass. Drop a square of Frey Tiramisù chocolate into the glass for a fun finale to your Freytini experience.
Cinnamon Sunset Freytini
1 part Grand Marnier®
1 part champagne
Splash of Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
1 square Frey Cinnamon & Blood Orange chocolate
8 squares Frey Swiss Dark Chocolate
Melt the eight squares of dark chocolate in a double boiler. When the chocolate is melted, transfer to a bowl and run the rim of the martini glass through the melted chocolate.
Pour first three ingredients into shaker filled halfway with ice. Stir (don’t shake) and strain into a martini glass. Drop a square of Frey Cinnamon & Blood Orange chocolate for the ultimate luxury fusion experience.
Alpine Zest Freytini
1 part citron vodka
1 part lime vodka
Sprite® to taste
1 3.5 ounce Frey White Lemon & Lime chocolate bar, plus 1 square Frey White Lemon & Lime chocolate
Melt one 3.5 ounce Frey White Lemon & Lime bar in a double boiler. Add 1.5 ounce of water to chocolate and stir until smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate to a bowl and run the rim of the martini glass through the melted chocolate. Place the martini glass in the freezer for 15 minutes until the chocolate is hardened.
Pour first three ingredients into a shaker filled halfway with ice. Stir (don’t shake) and strain into a martini glass. Drop a square of Frey White Lemon & Lime chocolate into the drink and savor the bold flavor at the bottom of the glass.
